Tax-Free Childcare Details

You must work at least 16 hours a week.

Your child must be 11 years old or younger.

The scheme is open to all eligible workers, including the self-employed.

You must earn less than £100,000 a year (per parent).

This scheme cannot be combined with other schemes.

Both partners in the household must be working, and you must earn at least £131 a week.

The government-supported Tax-Free Childcare scheme offers eligible families a 20% reduction in childcare costs, including our tutoring sessions. You need to open an online Tax-Free Childcare account, into which the government will deposit 20p for every 80p you contribute. Payments to providers, including us, are made from this account.

To become eligible, you must create an online childcare account through the Government Tax-Free Childcare site. Setting up your account should take around 20 minutes, requiring your national insurance number (and your unique taxpayer reference if you’re self-employed).

Universal Credit Details

Applicable if you're on a low income or unemployed.

Your child must be under 16 years old.

You must be under the State Pension age (this also applies to your partner).

Your combined savings with your partner must not exceed £16,000.

This benefit cannot be claimed alongside Tax Credits.

Universal Credit is paid directly to the parents or guardians, provided you (or your partner, if applicable) are working or are about to start work. You can claim up to 85% of your childcare costs, including our tutoring, as long as your child is in education until they turn 18. The maximum claim per month is £646 for one child or £1,108 for two or more children.

Childcare Vouchers

This scheme is closed to new applicants, but those already enrolled can continue to use their vouchers with us.

Allows for a salary sacrifice of up to £55 per week

Tax Credits

For children aged 0-15, or up to 16 if disabled.

Paid directly to parents.

Up to 70% off our tutoring services.

Although Tax Credits are now closed to new applicants, having been largely replaced by Universal Credit, those already receiving them can still apply the benefit towards up to 70% of their childcare costs, including our services. Payments are made directly to the parents or guardians, who then pay the childcare provider as agreed.
